    So I want to do a fall quilt and decided bear's paw in autumn colors would be ideal. Here is the first block. And may I add: I actually DID NOT paper piece!! Thanks to Donna Rae for her post

    I made half square triangles and they came out for once!!!! Whoot whoot! A few seams are off but for right now I am chuffed. :lol: :D 8)

    Very nice ady!! I love the bear paw block...one day I'll get to it on my list of things to do. lol

    Yes I am finally using a favorite red and yellow fabric I've been hoarding. Ooh I'll post a pic of all the intended colors real quick!

    That's a pic of me and Michael at his birthday party Saturday night :) For once we had a pic come out nice of us so I couldn't resist!

    Thanks for all the nice comments! I think I got that red floral at the PB quilt show the next town over or in Lancaster. I'm not sure which but it's been hiding in my special tote of very pretty pretty waiting for my skills to get better!

    Great bear paw ady. And great picture of the two of you. Love all your fabrics - you saved for just the right quilt!!!

    Shadow.....even I have done a bear claw - of course it is in the block chall=enge, so didn't have a choice!
