I seem to be in the minority, but I like the first one better. Both are wonderful.

I found copies of the signatures online, printed them out then traced onto fabric with a Fabric marker.

Right choice. Great hanging. How did you do the signatures?

Our cockerel is named Lennon - our neighbour is a huge fan and we thought he'd be more forgiving of the crowing at 4am if the bird had his idol's name.

And yes, we raised a glass to John yesterday.

I also like the second version... and don't get me started on The Beatles... went to see them in Cleveland when the police chief pulled Ringo down from his drum set (the Beatles were each elevated on different sized platforms) and told us all the show was cancelled because some fans rushed the security gate. An entire arena of fans set up such a wail (sobbing to be exact) and for such a long time, he relented and let the show go on. What a treasured memory that was... Elation and a sudden plunge into deep despair and then once again the elation! A magic night.

Although the fab for don't need identifying to us older folk this could last generations and they would probably like them identified.
