There are 20 machine embroidered blocks, with the Beatrix Potter characters. Alternating pinwheel blocks with yellow, pink, green and blue. Binding will be in the same blue as center pinwheels.

Will try and post 3 pictures (one on each posting) ...Need some help with ideas for quilting this. Do I do same quilt pattern for entire top (omiting quilting over the embroideries?)...or...Do I do shadow quilting on the pinwheels and something else on the embroidered blocks? What about the borders?

Any thoughts or comments would be appreciated.

Pic of quilt top........size is close to coverlet for twin bed.
