Today I got 5 blocks made. One I'm not happy with, I think I got some stretching with the bias edges. If I need it, I'll probably end up deconstructing that one.

This is going to be fun to watch your quilt build. I've saved some bird fabrics just because I liked them, with no plans on their destiny. Oooooohhhh more ideas!

Not such a good day today. I got 4 blocks cut out, but only 2 sewn. It started raining and Uncle Arthur started acting up and he woke up my friend fibro. Between the two, by the second block getting sewn, I was making mistakes and it was time to stop. I didn't take a pic of the ones that are cut out but not sewn.
The second photo shows how far off my corners are on the top row, the last one I sewed... not acceptable, lol, froggy time.

    today's blocks sewed

I would bring out the birds. I have some of the same fabric and so I will be watching also. You are doing a good job so far. Hope you feel better.

I'm unsure about the blue in the first pairing in the second group. Thoughts on that one? I'm wondering if I should go with a brown to help bring out the birds or a pink to pick up those flowers. I have a brown to help bring out the wrens in the center pairning in the bottom row.
