    Now that is a wonderful looking quilt! I too am not usually smitten by quilts using ties, but this one, I would give it a go!

    nice~

    one of first quilts I ever made was for my Uncle. I made a tie quilt using ties I got at 2nd hand store (in 1972 I bought a whole bag of ties for 49 cents) The ironic part was my Uncle NEVER wore a tie! I was very young and did not realize that fact, till the story was related at a family reunion 25 years later, My Aunt said he loved it any way! The only neck tie quilt I ever made!

    But I agree with the others this is an awesome quilt!

    I have a bunch of ties gathered at yard sales and such back in my hoarder days lol. I have not decided if I will keep them or not but this is certianly a great idea. Unfortunatly the quilting is what makes most quilts and I could only in my wildest dreams quilt this nice lol
