    I can see why she cried. I would have too. You put a lot of thought into this quilt. The material is precious and womanly and they really are showcased by the black or dark background. You were very thoughtful to do this for her. This was a nice tribute to her or any woman.

    Thanks for posting the pics. It helps us newbies learn about patterns, fabric, style and design. I really appreciate your efforts.

    How very thoughtful of you--I'm sure your aunt will cherish it forever! I think quilts provide so much comfort. I know when my husband passed away 11 years ago, I was given a quilt and it truly helped me feel better...
    I do have a new DH, but that quilt I was given remains very special to me!
