Last year I went to Houston and went to see one of my favorite fabric designers. I love Judie Rothermels fabric line. She designs fabric for Marcus Brothers. She does reproduction and civial war fabric.
Another quilt in her booth

The book is called The Centenniel Sampler. It has 150 5 inch minature patterns. It is kind of like a Dear Jane Quilt. You need to make templets kind of quilt you will need to work on for years. Need gobs of reroduction fabric :D :D :D
the quilt with the star in the middle is from her book Reproduction Quilts from the Civil War Period (1850-1865)

Lucky you Bebe, maybe I'll be as fortunate as you next year when I go to Houston. I seem to be drawn to her designs too - infact without even knowing it until I peeked at the selvedges. She certainly has my vote.
Love those quilts too - maybe one day LOL.

Yes she signed my books and 2 for 3 in College. I love her fabrics.
Maybe next year When I go to Houston I will get another pic w/ her and see you then Tisha.
I have not even thought about making her quilts yet you need to cut out templates and better if done by hand. Maybe in a few years or her books will just become collectors items for my stash (lol lol)
