This is really nice. That fabric lasts forever (I know, cuz my bedroom curtains have been hanging for years and years..and years!). This erases a thought I've had lately: my bathroom curtains were made from quilting cotton. Some of you may have this same fabric in your stash -- the yellow background with white daisies, tiny blue flowers, and bright green stems and leaves. I'm just tired of seeing them and the blue trim I used has faded. The yellow is fine. As soon as I can find a cheap replacement those things are coming down and being transformed into blocks (charms and/or layer cakes)

    Good work Leesa!

I think it is so neat. I would have never thought of making quilts out of curtains. I see you live in Arkansas. I live in the Bryant/Little Rock area.

If it makes her happy, then it is a job well done.

It's very pretty, glad you made her happy, she had a sweet idea to remind her kids of their fun camping times.

That is so neat! I would love a lap quilt that had fabric from my childhood. Nice quilting, too! The older I grow, the more nostalgic I become and wish I had kept some things I pitched!

She picked them up yesterday and really loved them. She brought me another one to do too. So, I guess she really likes them. I have at least 4 more of them to do for her between now and Christmas.
