    Default Before I knew better!

    I made this quilt years ago, when I was a novice. I think it turned out okay for not knowing what I was doing. I did the blanket stitch around each dresden with grey thread - ha ha. I didn't know to match the thread to the fabric at that time. Same with the flowers. Sorry the pic is sort of blurry.

    WOW! If you didn't know what you were doing, I'd like to see what you are doing now! This is a beautiful quilt. Are you going to the Sisters Quilt show? If so, I plan to go and may see you there.

    there is no rule that says you must match your thread to the colors of the fabrics. it's a great quilt!!!

    That is absolutely gorgeous! What a beautiful Dresden Plate pattern! I love the appliqué. I am so glad you shared it with us!
