Just finish it...it is still going to be beautiful. I miscut on border fabric of a quilt that was made of vintage fabric with no way to get anymore of that fabric. I just wanted to cry. I just said: It is what it is and finished it that way.

My sister and I have a plan for this, she is learning to sew and I am learning to quilt and to make miniature doll clothes. We call it practise, and even in practise we turn out some nice things. It's just practise so practise making it right by doing the things suggested on page one, finish and love this practise piece. It will be just perfect wherever you plan to put it!

every one makes mistakes like that. I do quite often if I am not think straight or in a hurry. Just trim each side to match and bind it, I am sure it will look great. Don't tell any one about your problem, just enjoy the compliments.

so far i have done four quilts and they are all full of mistakes. no one else notices them but me, they just see all the work that went into it and that's what people will see when yours is done too!

Ditto to this. I recently did this to a baby quilt I'm making for my nephew! After I evened it out, it's now smaller than I was wanting, so I will probably just add a simple boarder to make it a little bigger.
