I use a non-woven light weight fusible. I draw the circle on the smooth side of the fusible, place the glue.. side of the fusible against the right side of the fabric, sew, trim with about an eighth of an inch seam allowance, make a slit in the fusible and turn it right side out. Using my applique pressing sheet, I press the circle so that none of the fusible sews and then fuse it onto my dresden plate, then use whatever stitch you like. That's the easiet way I know to do it. I'm not good at needle turned applique.

Just be sure to make your circles big enough to cover all the raw edges of your pieces!

I did mine the way Eleanore Burns did, in her book "Egg Money Quilts" so easy, and very accurate!!

Great job.... you can use a glass, container etc.. to make your circle and I used a manila folder as my template after I count it out. And yes... they are time consuming, but worth it.
