    I think I posted some pictures of a method for perfect circles for appliqué on QB.You cut a square of Reynolds wrap foil about 8 inches and a piece of thin cardboard the exact size of your circle. You lay the tinfoil on the ironing board, place your fabric circle ( add seam allowance) good side against the foil and center the cardboard on top of the circle. Keeping a finger on the center of the cardboard to keep everything in place, gather up the tinfoil kind of like a Candy Kiss. The foil holds everything together so you can press with a hot iron to get the circle seam allowance all gathered inside the foil. When you open up the foil you should have a perfect circle ready to appliqué in place after removing the cardboard. Lovely Dresden Plates!     Just beautiful. I have made several blocks of this pattern, but not even a wall hanging. I admire your goal of a quilt of Dresden's. It will be wonderful!
