Great choices in fabrics Eddie. Can't wait to see how you progress with this. But beware, once you use batiks there is no turning back. They are like a drug.
Slacker!?!? Who you callin' a 'slacker'?!?! :D Just for that, I'm going to make you look at what I got done today.   I actually had done 15 blocks today and had them sewed together in rows (5 x 3 layout) and was installing the first glass fabric when I noticed a fatal flaw in my block construction method (I had tried a shortcut, which obviously wasn't going to work), so I tossed all of that into the trash and started over. So here's the first 5 blocks sewed together with the glass in. This is going to work, so I am in a groove now and movin' on! :D

Hi Eddie - this is going to be beautiful! What construction method are you using? The turn in the edges then fold or the fold in half and sew up each side then turn right side out and fold? Or none of the above?

Plus, would you mind sharing what your fatal mistake was so we don't do the same thing? We won't laugh, honest! 8-)
