    The cats in the garden was the one that inspired me to try this. I fell in love with it immediately when I saw it. The quilt shop was asking $600. for the finished quilt top and another $200. to quilt it. I couldn't afford to spend that much, but I realize it takes so much time to do this...it would be worth every penny! Do you know what you are going to put around the cats when you finish the squares, rectangles? I think the one I saw had purple and blues in calico.

    the next one you make could you take photos each step to teach us your method?

    this is really lovely and I have just learned that the great grandchild due in july is a GIRL so i need all kinds of ideas
    this will be the first baby girl in our family this century

    did you use regular crayons or paintsticks?

    They are gorgeous! Your embroidery sets off the crayoning. You could have a future as a designer.
