Sounds like a wonderful idea to me. Is there a way you could do a couple of small paperpieced blocks of some kind before you actually start on it? If this is your first paperpiecing, you may get pretty frustrated. I am doing this one side by side with my BF and we are having fun with it. The instructions are very clear, just follow them to the letter. Read it all first, Take a deep breath and join us

Too darn funny---those are two of the quilts I have wanted to make for ages. Now to find the pattern for the Bali Wedding Star!! I have the accuquilt dies for Sunbonnet Sue and Overall Sam so I am not worried about those two. I need to make several of those!!! "Oh, a man may work from dusk to dawn but a woman's work is never done!!" lol Gosh, does that apply to quilting? I am now getting my hubby involved in piecing---he has been practicing the long arm quilting machine we have. It is far from a Gammill, but he is a natural. I never did see the finished projects. Darn it!! Peace and blessings, Vicki
