    A friend and photographer, also owner of a photo shop, took the pictures when he was here visiting, and developed them on fabric. They're not transfers, as with most photos, they are actually developed on the fabric, as if it were paper. The quality of the photo is really amazing.

    It turned out pretty well, look on page 5. I don't know how to add that to the title of the thread, if that is an option to me or just admin. and mods.

    OMG. what a stunner. The photos came out so beautifully. Can you share how you printed them to the fabric? That really is one special quilt...I think it would look fantastic in my house.

    I did not print the pictures, a friend/photographer did. They are developed on the fabric the same as someone would develop a picture on paper.

    Well that explains why the clarity is soooo good. I've seen memory quilts where the quilter has transferred the picture image to fabric and they never look well defined to me. Your photgrapher friend is good, and your quilt is really gorgeous...it bears repeating. :thumbup: :thumbup:
