OMG!!! That is absolutely gorgeous!!! That's your own design??? WOW!!! Words can not express how wonderful that work of art is! If you decide to enter that into a quilt contest, please let us know how you did...it should win a blue ribbon!! (do you get the feeling that I like this one???? lol)

Thanks, ladies! I don't know if any of you experience this, but I love to come here for some pats. If I show this to my husband and/or son, I get a shrug. Actually, yesterday's comment was, "who's that for?" Nothing more. Good grief...

Your quilt is gorgeous, and you deserve several pats on the back. I do the same thing...post my most recent "masterpiece" to get some kudos. It's good of our souls!!! :-)

I love what you've done with your colors. Can you tell us what method you used to get the pictures into the quilt? I am sitting here staring at your quilt and wishing I could get closer and closer to see the stitching and combinations of stripping in the blocks. I want to touch it. Now that is talent. :)

When I was self employed, working alone, and something that was potentially difficult came out perfect, I would give myself a verbal pat on the back. "Dang I'm good". I would say you have definitely earned a dang or two!!! :)

Wow, what a stunning quilt!!! I mistakenly thought you did it over the weekend, and I was completely blown away! I'm still blown away by how pretty it is but happy to know you did it over the course of a year!!
