Here is my Bent Pieces Charity Quilt from a class I took on Thursday with Debbie Bowles of mapleislandquilts.com If you are not familiar it is a free cut curve, no pin piecing method. If you have a chance to take a class with Debbie Bowles I highly recommend it. I machine quilted it using a free motion soft curve Debbie suggested. All the techniques were new to me.

I just used that curve last night on a sewing machine mat I'm making. I drew a straight line, then another one 3" away, and so on then just free motioned over the line. Then you go the other way. Beats STID any day! Is that how you did your lines?

Your quilt is gorgeous! And the curved outside edge of the border is just perfect.
