I finally finished the binding on the Bento Box. It was made from a jelly roll and a fun and easy one but I just kept putting this one aside until it became UFO. Got it quilted and bound and it went right off the the youngest grandchildren in Fairbanks where it has been a long cold winter for them. The backing was flannel.

I bet they will love it. Probably fight over it for ownership. Looks cozy and snuggly. Turned out great.

Oh that sounds warm!! Love it!
I'm making my son and his fiancee one (she's Japanese) out of batiks.

Love your bento box. I started one out of Batiks about a year ago and then got busy with other things. Thanks for reminding me - will have to get it back out.

I love that pattern. Haven't made one yet...it's in my "someday" list, lol but yours is beautiful!

Beautiful! I really like the design, and your fabrics. The grandchildren will love it.
