    Thanks, sawsan!! In answer to your question, I neither turned the edges under nor glued them. Should have clarified in the beginning that I glued only the buttons on for the eyes and in the pic they look white because the glue was still wet but wd be clear looking in a few hrs after drying. I wasn't very clear - don't know what I was typing. Anyway, the mini is entirely raw edged applique which seems to be a popular way to go these days. Am seeing it more and more and like the looks of it - especially after it's been washed. So glad you like my mini. It sure is different!

    Thanks, sunshine!! Ain't that sew tweet?? yea, I forgot how to draw a bird - ha - but they came out okay. The one bird's pink wing is upside down (ha) but I don't think anyone wd notice, do you? Yes, love the embellishing part tooooo! :thumbup: :thumbup:
