    Oh dear. This model -- sans the embellishments -- was my first sewing machine, a high school graduation present from my parents. Maybe someone bought that old machine and, ah, "decorated" it.

    I wonder if the poor thing still sews? Its a great use for this machine. I collect older machines and use them. Often
    this type of machine has nylon gears that have fallen apart over the years and aren't worth fixing.
