What a beautiful quilt! Carl Benders has a quilt pattern out called Autumn Lady that I have been drooling over for some time now. He is a fantastic nature artist and my second favorite. Top dog for me is Robert Bateman when it comes to nature paintings. This would be a beauty hanging in a kitchen. So did your friend make up a "pattern" for this on her own, I am guessing? If so, she did a wonderful job.

Wonderful. The face on the coyote is realistic! I love the border too and the grapes or wisteria.
