Will tell you why the random color placement of B.Bl. worked on this quilt. It's because the quilt was so dark in color, it actually needed 2 little med.'s tog w/the lg. triangle because then you could see reflection of light, light, light coming thru. There must be a balance somewhere or the quilt will be pulled down. Know what I mean?

You're going to feel GREAT once you break out into other color areas. You will feel like a new person! It will happen when you're ready and voila, a new you will appear in your work! Great fun talking to you. Keep up the good work!!
I do know what you mean about light and dark! I will be watching to see what I can learn from your work. I have been excited to see various techniques in these Doll Quilts that I have never done before.

Am sure you'll see something that triggers you to try or inspires you in another area! If we cross-examine our work well, we'll see areas of weakness we need to work on and vice versa. Our quilts are always teaching us something! It's best to "go with the flow" than "fight the currents." Am trying to see the fabs I use in a different way along with the colors and the true artist knows how to pull it all together! I'm still working on that. It is a growing process, for sure! These doll quilt artists are amazing!
