Default Big Stitch or variation on Big Stitch?

Which one do you prefer? I took my big stitched motif and added some whipped stitches to form a solid line for the branches. Or should I stick with it all being big Stitch?

I'm happy with just the big stitch..thats a beautiful size..very consistent. I have difficulty getting even stitches because I've hand quilted for so long, and find myself trying to get smaller and smaller bites. But I like the look, and yours especially.

I like all big stitch. I have to agree with mermaid, that's some really nice stitching.

I like the solid branch but it doesn't make that corner more of a focal point - so I would say it depends if it detracts from the rest of the quilt or if you are happy for the corners to become a bit more of a focus.

I call one quilting and the other embroidery. Both are nice. I think it depends on what you are trying to emphasis. I look at quilting as a hidden picture, and embroidery as a main focus. Beautiful hand work.

Beautiful!. I like them both and each one projects a different feeling. Difficult to choose.
