    No doubt about it - the darker pink will set off the entire runner. Very pretty pattern and your friend will LOVE it.

    I would use the lighter fabric so it doesn't take away from the border. Could you tell me where you found the pattern, perfect for valentime.

    I go with pipsqueak Unless you want to detract from the table topper itself i would go with the light pink. JMHO
