    Wow, a blast from the past! When I first began my quilting obsession, I bought enough of this fabric to make two quilts. Since I was a beginner, I did the individual blocks using the lap quilting method[Georgia Bonesteel] with solid brown sashing, mitered corners, and quilted around the birds. I made it for my Mom as she loved all things forest. She was thrilled with it and used it at the house up north. Evidently my sister likes it so much I didn't find it in the boxes of Mother's things left to me. Think it is time to use the leftover blocks to make one for myself.
