Default Bird on a vine wallhanging

This was my first attempt at hand-appliqueing, so there are some unsightly angles here and there, but overall I was very pleased with the project. The quilting is free-style machine quilted, and it is all single-line designs. I tried something new and used a bright colored satin on the background. Aside from the fraying threads which I was continually picking out, I was very satisfied with the result, and my husband almost likes the back better than the front! I need to put a sleeve and label on the back yet, but thought I'd share these pictures before I did that.
