    I want to make this bag for my daughter to take on her honeymoon. It will be in tropical floral prints. Yours is beautiful. Makes me taste citrus.

    I got measuring tapes at the Dollar Store-for guess what? $1.00! Sometimes they are narrower, but work fine. Someone told me if they don't snap well, double them.

    Thanks, that's good to know. I have about used up the one my husband had, so will need to be on the lookout for another one. I can also keep my eye out if I go to a garage sale.
    Mimi4, have you tried to make one bigger than it says on the pattern? I have been thinking about making one a little bigger and putting a shoulder strap on it for those times when all you want to carry is you billfold and cell.
