Default Birds of a feather sneak peek of what I am working on

I got this amazing quilt from a new client. Her grandmother hand embroidered all the bird blocks. Her grandmother was a master needle worker as the embroidery is just amazing. She wanted the birds to pop so what better way to do that then surround them with feathers! So I am dubbing this quilt "Birds of a Feather". I just loaded it yesterday and meant to take a before pic and forgot. So then I thought it would be fun to photograph every bird block before and after quilting. I have completed the first row. So here are my before and afters. I am loving how this is coming out and the birds really are popping after quilting.

Oh, it's so cool how your quilting affects the blocks; well done for both of you!

They are all a soft yellow color. Some pictures were taken with flash and some without and that is what makes them appear to be different colors. They are really all the same background fabric which is a soft yellow color.

The blocks look fantastic! Both the fill and the border treatment on each block! I love how you left the moon unfilled on the Owl block. Well done.
