    I was so impressed with your daffodils and iris that I went to her site and ordered those plus a couple of others. They were so intriguing when they got here that I immediately ordered several more!! I don't know when I'll find time to do them, but they look wonderful. What are your thoughts about doing them in batiks?

    I did the poinsetta one and used some batiks, they are very pretty. I just picked my fabrics for that strictly on the correct color, regardless of types, lines, ect.

    I agree, I used a few batiks in the Iris I think. And I really liked it. Batiks give the flowers depth and "imperfection" in color. Which they have in nature.

    you know I really WANT to learn pp- but when you post things like this, I lose my confidence. This is gorgeous. Absolutely gorgeous.

    Don't feel overwhelmed. Start with a beginner block and small project. These projects I've shown are for intermediate and above. I would try to argue a beginning PP out of trying these as a first time project.
