    That's a great idea! I really like the contrast of the birds with the geometric quilt blocks.

    A long time ago I made one of those birds as a sample block just to see how difficult it would be. Now, seeing what you've done by using them as a border, I think I'll make more because your idea is wonderful! Thanks so much for posting.
