Today it would have been my Mom's birthday.
Here's the block I finished yesterday. Lots of SID so it took me a while to finish this one.

What a pretty spring site to wake up to!
......how about a heart in the middle of that pink star?
Or perhaps Mom's birth date quilted into it?

Thanks QuiltE! I've been thinking about that too. There are more 'empty' spots so I thought: her initials and year of birth and passing.

Yes indeed ..... three stars will do it! ......unless there is another spot on the quilt where it would fit nicer? Are there any other secret messages that could be hidden in the quilting??
