Your quilt is going to be beautiful!! My mom was newly married in the early 30's and had been making quilts for several years (she was an avid quilter). She would have loved your quilt, also. She has been gone for 5 years and I still miss her every day.

Thank you Dixie! My mom did all kinds of handcrafts like sewing, counted crossstitch, knitting, embroidering, woonpainting but she never quilted. She would have loved it.
Here's block # 37 Mexican Rose.

Here are blocks @ 20 Card Tricks and # 21 Dutchman's Puzzle, together with Mexican Rose, like they will appear in the quilt. I didn't sew them together yet as I still have to square Mexican Rose up to 12.5".

Oh Anael ... what a beautiful quilt you are doing. And such a nice way to honour your Mom and contineut to keep her in your ♥. I'm sure there are times you feel as though she is quilting right along side of you!

My dear quilting friends, I'm very sad as the one I wanted to spend the rest of my days with has left me. He doesn't want to be in this relationship anymore, at least not now. We had a lot of troubles but I was convinced we could work things out. Turns out he isn't so sure. So I try to get through the day, try working on my mom's quilt because I don't know what else to do now.
