I'm so sorry to hear that you are so sad. Change is sooo hard and losing love is even harder. I'm so glad that you have something to keep your mind and your hands busy while you deal with it. Please remember that you are loved by everyone here and that God loves you more than anyone on this earth ever could.

Thank you dlong for your comforting words.

Here are the pinwheel blocks I made today. I'm working on another block but I don't know if I will finish that one today.

Oh Anael .. this quilt will be like a breath of fresh air for you ... as you take a trip down memory lane, to help yourself look ahead into your new future. I'm sure you'll shed some tears along the way, and at the same time muster up some courage with those happy memories of your Mom. Then with all that, I'm sure you'll make some choices and decisions for that new future. All the best ... Sincerely, QuiltE

Anael.....Loss is painful, but truth does set us free. Take your loss as your gain. Not easy to do, but better to know this truth now than later when it's too late. Thank God for quilting.....literally. Keeping busy does heal. I know from many personal experiences......I think you must feel the many hugs from here. I hope they are comforting you.♥

The idea of your quilt is so beautiful Ode to your Mom...and the quilt blocks are beautiful as well. I can hardly wait to see the finished quilt top. Thanks for sharing what you have done thus far.

Thank you all for your comforting words, hugs and your lovely comments on my quilt. I know I will get wherever I have to be but it's a hard and very painful road to travel. I'm very thankful having you as my (virtual) friends!

I made a block today, it doesn't look straight but once in the quilt no one will notice It's block # 22 Grandmother's Choice.
