Default Birthday presents of grandkids for daughters

Silouhette machine appliques of our grandkids for their mother's birthday presents this year. I took photos in front of the french doors then blew them up and traced the profiles on tracing paper then transfered them to fabric and cut them out and machine appliqued them to the backgrounds.

That is a great idea, and so precious for the mom too. It's so pretty.

What a fabulous idea! When I taught second grade, I'd trace around the kids' silhouettes for Mother's Day. To do it for quilts never occurred to me. I love it!
