    I just finished the binding on this yesterday. I made in school colors (West Branch Bears) using, of course, a bear paw block. The red and black 4-patches have a quilted bear paw in them. Those are kind of hard to see but look neat on the quilt. We borrowed the school's street stencil (they paint bear paws on the street in front of the school) and resized it to make a stencil. The pieced paws are stitched in the ditch. This was a fun one to make...I love red and black quilts :)

    We're hoping to do a fundraiser for the booster club at school...thought we could contribute something a little different but still have it be school themed.
