Default Black/Red Civil War Quilt..quilted by Chris

This beauty is called Sherman's March and was made by a customer from Alaska. She has sent us several beautifully pieced quilts to finish, and this one was no different. She used deep black, red, and tan reproduction fabrics. I quilted this with a Baptist Fan design. The back is a South Seas Flourish fabric and while the picture doesn't show the true color, it's a very good match for the red she used in the quilt top. Thanks for looking!

Oh, my goodness...this quilt is so beautiful and you did it justice with the quilting of the Baptist Fan design. It is very impressive. You both did beautiful work indeed.

That really is beautiful - the quilting really enhances the quilt. I need to get back to the sewing machine!
