    I think I like it better with no sashing. I like the movement in the blocks (looks like weaving). The black looks okay but it stops the weave effect. JMHO

    In Australia we are going into spring... :) :-) :-D .Anyway, I will wait for my final decision until i get to go to the shops and see what I can find. I want to make another row anyway, so no hurry. I would hate to finish it and then find I don't like it because of the colour in the sashing!!! :cry:

    I think a dark brown would go better with the color scheme you have going. Black is too strong for these blocks.

    I like it with the sashing. If you didn't want to use black I think I would use that orangy rust color you have in the quilt that is in a block with a plaid. I don't see much of that in your quilt and it would brighten up your quilt.
    Show us what you decide to do with it. It is going to be very nice when you finish whatever you decide to do.
