Default Black Sharpie

Am I just a little strange or would this bug you too? I sewed my Spiderweb blocks together with gray thread because I didn't want black thread showing in the coloured section. Now that I have finished the FMQ the gray thread stitches are showing in the black. I think I will colour them with a black sharpie and there are about 100 intersections. Am I crazy?

I Sharpie markered (is that a word?) the entire borders of a quilt for that exact reason. It's been washed several times and the thread is still black. I used a fine point marker to help keep from getting so much on the actual fabric. Looking back on it now, I suppose a Pigma pen might have been a better choice but the Sharpie is still doing the job.

I guess if you are crazy, I am too. It's always better to have group support!

Smart thinking. I have done this to other sewing & it works out, over time with washings you may have to reapply.
