    I am sorry there is no pattern. I used the tutorial below to make the first block (link to d2p below) and then made a square in a square with the left over middle. It is kind of like a log cabin, chain piecing all the pieces as you go. trimming and then, chain piece the next set and so on.

    I went to the site and fell in love with that"trick" block. I'm going to try it today. If it works out to be as easy as it seems ... here I go, yet another quilt is on its way.

    Could you give the width of the strips used for the square in the square block, they look like different sizes or is that an illusion of the print fabric?

    Wow I'm still having trouble with D9patch, I have one that i'm cutting out. I got caried away. I for got to sew just kerpt on cutting. I have stopped now trying to figure out to do to currect it. I'm not giving up. Theresse

    I really like this quilt. Just enough color for that pop among the black and white. Awesome job! I am not sure I could keep all the blacks and whites in the correct location, but you surely did. Thanks for sharing
