Wow! This is so fun! Great colors and I love the parallel lines randomly in there :)

Is this the one your talking about?
"Beyond the Block" by Linda K Johnson and Jane K Wells

You found it on Connecting Threads and I've seen it on Amazon. It's on my wish list there.

That is really cool! It would be a fun gift for one of my kids.

    And here's Yvonne's quilt: http://www.quiltingboard.com/posts/list/15/14992.page

The book has only small projects-more wall hanging size. Yvonne explained to me it's a technique, not a pattern. I made way more stuff than just 4 and 9 patches--and I made a great variety of sizes. That made it tricky to get together--but that was part of the fun.

I recently found another book with a similar technique...but I can't find the book I saw it... I'll PM you if I come across it again. Yvonne--do you still have the email where I sent the title to you?
Thanks!!! I've bookmarked the site. I sure wish we lived closer to each other. I bet we could have a lot of fun (and make a HUGE mess!) in the quilt room together.

What a fun, inspirational quilt. Wants to make me go dig for my B&W fabrics. Have other UFO's to do first  But will be thinking about it for sure
