I have admired this quilt ever since it came out. I have not purchased it because I have waaaayyy too many other projects going and now with the new grandbaby (any day now!), I know I wouldnt' get to it.
I guess it's my "carrot". That ultimate quilt I want to do and know not to buy it till I'm ready to do it.
It's very meaningful to me because I grew up on a farm and have had all those animals and can relate to it.
GOOD FOR YOU! for sticking with it and doing such a beautiful job! You should be very proud!

I have looked at this kit several times in the Keepsake book. I just know that at some point I am going to break down and get it. I just love it! You did a wonderful job!

That is one of the reasons I am making it. My daughter and son in law have a farm with cows, pigs and chickens. Someday I would imagine they will get this quilt.

Bev took the words right out of my mouth. AWWWHHHH!!!! was all I could say when I saw your last block. It came out so cute. I can almost see you smiling while it came together. Really cute!! Keep the pictures coming I just love seeing your finished blocks. I love McKenna's patterns. My sister made the last farm quilt pattern she did, the one before this pattern.

Here is the chicken block I am making. It needs its boarder, but I need to know what you think.

Part of the effect of this block is the quilting stitching guide. I will send copies of the quilting guide with the blocks so each receiver has the information.
