Making a block for the kids

We were using shapes today in class to make well shaped objects. So one group of the kids made a nice arrangement with some triangles, a hexagon and some rhombus'. So I figured I would make it into a quilt block and show them how you can use shapes in "real" life. So I am trying to get this done for tomorrow. When I get it done I will post it on here. ANd look further down the finished block is a few more posts down.

    Donna,

    I don't know...LOL
On top of that I am probably going to spend the weekend in bed. I can feel a sore throat coming on. Ugh.... three of my kids were out this week because they were sick.
