    Default Blocks for QOV

I am subscribed to the QOV newsletter and they posted 2 block patterns that the MQX Quilt Festival is collecting for their 2015 QOV block drive. I made the 2 blocks and on the one I had extras from the star points to I made 2 pinwheel blocks and in turn made 2 mug rugs. I will be mailing these blocks to the festival coordinator in NH. They are not due till April of 2015 but I will send them after the holidays. Here is my picture:

Great blocks! Am I right in thinking you can make these blocks and send them for someone else to make them up into a quilt?

Yes, they are collecting blocks, someone from that group designed these blocks and all you have to do is make 1 of each and send them to the group. They are looking to get something like 2500 blocks, it takes 20 to make a quilt. They will make the quilts and then donate them. I did this earlier this year for another group and these blocks were sent out to Calif.
