Your quilt is beautiful and I agree a small red flange and brown border or flying geese would look great. Nice work.

Lovely quilt in the making, what about following on with a border of smaller blocks like the ones you currently have in the centre Then another plainer border to finish it off?

This quilt is just beautiful. It reminds me of someone bringing it over on a wagon train. I love the idea of borders but what about finishing it up with prairie points or am I just a bit wacky? Too busy???

I like Becky's idea. I think that would really look great. Your quilt is beautiful.

I like the idea of flying geese. I've just learned an easy method and am enjoying making them for my quilt.

    :)
    I like this idea too!

If you have left overs from the same fabric lines, I always love a saw tooth (half square triangle) border. Or if you are feeling really ambitious, the flying geese border is hard to beat. Not so fresh and original, but right in keeping with the theme of the quilt's current style.
