    9 patches were about 3-4 inches finished. The quilt just hangs down a few inches off the top of a queen bed. If I hadn't messed up seam sizes it would have been 6 inches larger all the way around!

    one of my biggest problems was that it was a surprise and I had to handle it alot to hide it from my daughter. Some of the seams separated after I did the strip quilt cutting. Lots of re-sewing and the whole re-squaring!! Keep going... the finish is worth it!
