Just gorgeous.
I had several lilac bushes in my back yard in NYC and felt sad about losing them as my Greetings from Spring.
We decided to move to New Hampshire - it's the state flower and blooms everywhere you look from white (ridiculous - there's a reason they're called lilac) to the deep purple doubles.

Gorgeous! I've always loved purple and green together in a quilt. I made a blooming 9-patch for my DS and DDIL for their wedding gift. I was surprised how quickly it went together. Yours is so bright and cheery!

I love lilacs too! Our bedroom is done in lilacs. Yes, I know - but my husband doesn't care and I don't have any ruffles or anything too girly. We are moving on Wednesday to a bigger house after 34 years in our little starter home and my new master bedroom will be lilacs too!
