    Default Blue Batik Wedding Gift

Simply Woven a quilt pattern by Jessica Kelly, www.sewcraftyjess.blogspot.com

Measure twice and cut once, as I lost 13 of the 48 blocks to bad cuts (totally my fault). It still finished up very nicely. Enjoy.

Beautiful! I did this pattern in neckties. I haven't attempted it in a cotton fabric. You did a terrific job!

Great quilt and I love that pattern. I haven't tried it but I do like the method and link you posted.

That's so beautiful! I am making a blue/cream batik quilt for my son and his girlfriend and had wondered if I should add some darker neutrals to break it up a little - I really like the way yours turned out! I'm doing the Hunter's Star. Will have to make up a few more blocks to see how it looks!

Taking a quick look back at the photo - I see you didn't actually use different neutrals; it's an illusion created by the different blues. Hmmm. Very nice!
