    Beautiful....I love dresden plate...it is my new favorite. You might have inspired me to finish mine today. Just have to draw the lines and quilt it. You did a lovely job.

    Oh, don't be scared to try one. I purposely chose a pattern with the points because I didn't have any raw edges to deal with except for the circle.

    The quilt, measured after washing, is about 72" x 84". I have a total of 30 plates and the blocks measured 12" sq. at the time I cut them out. The sashing is 2 1/2 inches and one border is 3" and one is 4". Fun for me to make. I think I will try one in just scraps too.
