Default Blue and Gray Baby Quilt

Close friends were expecting their first grandchild and I made a quilt. The nursery was to be decorated in Navy blue, gray, and white. I tossed in a couple lighter blue blocks for a little interest. Both the mom and grandma got teary when they saw the quilt for the first time. I couldn't possibly have a better thank you than that. This is my first attempt at adding photos...hope it works. Thanks for looking.

Thank you for all of your kind words. Once I got into this, I really liked the colors for a nursery. I didn't use a pattern which was pretty scary for me as I am not an experienced quilter. I have found a wonderful long arm quilter in my area (Lancaster County, PA) and I am so happy with her work. Several of the fabrics in the quilt have stars and we decided on a star theme for the quilt design. It has taken me 3 years, but I finally found how to post a photo.
    Thanks again.
